
Ky-mani is an emerging star with the release of his untitled third album. In February of 1976, Ky-mani was born to legendary Robert Nesta Marley and Jamaican table tennis champ, Anita Belnavis, in Falmouth, Jamaica. East African words for Ky-mani refer to a traveler who is adventurous. As an East African man, his albums and travels offer a thrilling experience. The journey of his musical career began in 1999 , with The Journey. A multi-faceted vision, Ky-mani was looking for his own niche, roaming the musical spectrum to discover his numerous abilities. The year 2001 saw the release of Many More Roads (Grammy-nominated) is a "traditional" reggae album , was out, which revealed a more mature Ky-mani. Many More Roads and The Journey have been well received across the world. The album established Ky-Mani's position as an independent musician. Ky-Mani combines roots reggae and hip-hop R&B along with contemporary jazz and hip-hop to form his unique sound.
