Anna Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Ilkay Silk has been a director, actress as well as a producer, playwright, and teacher for St. Thomas University. Anna Silk was born to the British father and English-Turkish Cypriot mother. As a young child, she was featured in commercials of various kinds. In November 1999, Anna relocated to Toronto in order to further develop her acting career, eventually making the move in Los Angeles, California, during the decade that followed. Seth Cooperman was introduced to Anna in Los Angeles at an acting workshop in 2007. The two were engaged by 2009. They married in a civil ceremony that December and renewed their vows in a Jewish ceremony in Fredericton in April of 2011 in the wake of Anna's conversion into Judaism.
